DAY MOMENTS are designed to fit your baby perfectly, without causing any pressure points, to be breathable, and to keep everything in place. The absorbent core consists of a perforated nonwoven fabric, a compressed layer of pulp, and SAP gel. This makes the diapers very thin and allows your baby to move freely. The patented Flash Dry technology ensures that liquid is quickly drawn away from your baby and securely locks not only liquid but also odors inside the core. Absorbent channels ensure that liquid spreads throughout the entire absorbent core and does not accumulate in one spot. KOLORKY diapers thus quickly wick moisture away, leaving your baby’s skin dry and comfortable. Of course, there’s a wetness indicator that lets you know when it’s time to change your baby’s diaper. All our diapers are dermatologically tested and certified by the National Institute of Public Health (SZÚ).

Pulp
Pulp is a renewable raw material with excellent properties. It is highly absorbent, soft, and strong. It consists of softwood (pine and spruce) grown in Sweden. The wood used to produce the pulp comes from sustainably and responsibly managed forests and is 100% traceable, meaning it meets FSC certification standards.
Since a child wears a diaper practically all the time during the first two years of life, we consider it important to also pay attention to how the pulp is bleached. Bleaching is not done with chlorine, but using the TCF (total chlorine-free) method, which employs oxygen, ozone, or hydrogen peroxide. Where and why is the pulp in the diaper? It is distributed throughout the entire absorbent system to reliably draw moisture away from a baby’s sensitive skin.
SAP
SAP, or superabsorbent polymer, is a synthetic material that has not been shown to have any toxic or harmful properties. It consists of tiny crystals that can absorb many times their own weight in liquid while also absorbing odors. Without this gel, diaper consumption would be significantly higher, and so would the amount of waste generated. SAP is not biodegradable. Where and why is it in the diaper? SAP absorbs liquid and odor in the diaper’s absorbent system, keeping your baby’s skin dry.
LDPE
LDPE is a non-toxic plastic that you encounter on a daily basis. Where and why is it used in diapers? LDPE is used in diapers as a thin film in the absorbent system to prevent leakage; you’ll also find it in adhesive tapes. This layer also ensures that the diaper fits snugly without causing pressure points. We print the original designs of our diapers onto the LDPE film using ink.
Nonwoven fabric
It is a breathable and lightweight fabric. You can think of it as a very durable fabric created by bonding fine natural or synthetic fibers together. Where and why is it used in diapers? It runs through the entire absorbent system and is also used in the fastening strips.
Adhesive
Hot-melt is an adhesive made of synthetic rubber. It is applied hot, in a molten state. Where is it found in the diaper, and why? It holds the diaper together. The adhesive is also used on the wetness indicator.
Spandex
Spandex is a synthetic polyurethane fiber that is highly elastic. Where and why is it used in diapers? It’s used in the side cuffs to make them elastic, so they hug the baby’s legs and nothing leaks out.
